A dental crown is a fixed restorative solution for your tooth, and it can be made of various materials (such as porcelain, ceramic, gold, and acrylic). Crowns not only restore worn-down teeth, but they may also strengthen the bite and improve the appearance of your natural smile. They are safe to use with other tooth restoration methods, including implants, fillings and bridges.
Before placing a crown, we will prepare your tooth and take impressions for an effective fit. Then, we will firmly cement the crown onto the prepared tooth. To make the procedure as comfortable as possible, we may administer a local anaesthetic.
If you suffer from dental anxiety, we may also offer you IV sedation to make you feel more relaxed during the treatment.
